Working with marketing at Embark you will establish a function that helps create living and dynamic game experiences along with marketing the same. We are a new studio and this is an opportunity for you to utilize your experience and entrepreneurship to establish and grow a function organically and through partnerships. 

We expect you to be a visionary marketeer, but one of those that is interested in the hands-on aspects of marketing as much as building an organisation for the same. You will be embedded in our games teams, working closely with them. We think that for the first six, eight months or so you will be a hands-on contributor in this role and then possibly start to build out the function organically.

Examples of responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Go-To-Market strategy for Embark’s games
  • Work integrated with the games dev team to find the right brand voice for our games
  • Work closely with partners and platform holders
  • User acquisition strategy and execution
  • Own strategy across marketing channels in all international markets & execute campaigns across SEM, SEO, Social, YouTube, Display, and other channels
  • Optimize campaigns as well as analyze results to help us determine how and where budget should be allocated
  • Gain understanding of local interests and tastes in order to develop and execute region specific marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with other teams to share learnings from marketing and apply learnings from other teams to campaigns within your channels

We would love if you have

  • Free2play and/or digital entertainment experience
  • Experience from publishing/self-publishing of Free2Play games
  • Experience from collaborating and work integrated with games creatives on storytelling and business models
  • Analytical, results-driven, and detail-oriented and the ability to tell a story using campaign results
  • Demonstrated ability to think globally (experience with international marketing and/or working with international teams to develop region specific marketing strategies)
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and initiatives across various teams at different stages of growth
  • Excited by a fast-paced environment and passionate about entertainment and/or the online video space
  • Game maker mindset, a desire to create magical experiences and to explore the unknown
  • And of course you like games as much as we do!
